Ooh! That’s good wasabi!

We just broached the jar we picked up in Taupo on our way through the other day. Wow! It's not so much the heat - you’ve managed to capture the all-important fragrance. Don’t take my word for it - the Japanese contingent here all agree Coppersfolly is excellent, and that includes a visiting lady who runs arguably the best gourmet restaurant in her town in Japan.

Now to find a supplier nearer to here than Greytown...

Purewasabi; : Grown in Canterbury and wonderfully pungent and creamy. Already mixed with a little lemon, oil and salt it has been an essential addition to our sashimi this summer at the beach, and puts the artificially coloured Japanese tubes to shame.

Hello!

We are travelling aboard a cruise ship and dined today at Pacifica in Napier and had your amazing wasabi with tuna sashimi... are there any retail stores in Christchurch where we can buy your product? Or maybe in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide?

We will be at all of these ports and would love to buy some to use on board and take home with us! It is amazing!

Hi Fenton,

It's J A from Adelaide, Australia. Your wasabi is just fabulous.

I use it in place of horseradish and mustard and add it to many dishes.

I have found that when it is heated, it seems to loose it's heat compared to when it is cold, but has intense flavor. It's my little secret for the moment, but not for long, as I want to give it to people for Xmas.

I would like to order a large jar for myself and six small ones. Looking forward to hearing from you,

Hi,

I have just ordered a couple of small jars online, congratulations on an easy ordering process.

I have recently been introduced to your product by a friend and to say I am impressed is an under-statement.

The flavours are more subtle and I really like the texture of the product, you also don’t get that horrible nasal blast if you have a bit much like the green stuff in the tube.

We are keen fishermen and are using it with our sashimi dishes, so far snapper, kahawai and trevally. I often put blogs of my fishing trips on www.fishing.net.nz under the pseudonym of capnnod and will comment on your fine product there, they get hundreds of hits each trip.

We recently had several families around for a meal and the sashimi was demolished and literally every one commented on and enquired about your wasabi.

I was going to order a large jar but thought it might get knocked over and broken in the rush for more!, maybe a medium sized jar would be a good addition to your range.

Once again, what a great product, wishing you all the success with it!
